What is A Steps / Traditions or Step Study Meeting?

A Step / Traditions meeting is where the group uses a portion of the meeting time to read literature specifically written about one of the Twelve Steps or one of the Twelve Traditions.

A Step Study meeting is where the group uses a portion of the meeting to read literature related to a specific step. The group usually reads about one of the 12 steps each week and then starts over again. This typically drives the topic of the sharing though it is not required for sharing.
